Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp 2018… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking of things you want to you can discuss it with your therapist sort of immediately and then I believe a good part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really valuable for people with anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it type of offers you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a big professional um I would state a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to talk about if you select to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling this way you know I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they examine that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she examines hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 actions a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message since generally they do a lot of these people seem to have perhaps not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely rapid because regard like talking about things it’s rapid that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of discuss it like a typical conversation but with talk space you might state this and then it might be 5 hours later and then they may say oh well this and after that it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your pals you know what I imply like you can call somebody and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something great to consider you understand something that did trouble me a bit at first yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a good bit cheaper than entering to speak to someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here somebody it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions each month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking really because like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any complaints about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I thought of but that’s.

not extremely essential but total I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been excellent up until now um I indicate it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these people even if you’re not there in person and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with typical regular therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did mean to have a bit of trouble opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m not sure how much that really is simply me having an issue opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing simultaneously but back here so I just wanted to provide some like final thoughts I guess I do not want this to be too long of a video I type of wanted to give a quick introduction and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it states it’s supposed to do I think it’s a little bit difficult if you have some issues that are look I think it’s really great for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have actually like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not little however like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I suggest I guess I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so basically I believe it’s really good if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have a truly busy task or something like that I think also another really excellent truly great prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re traveling overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be an excellent thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
