texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Addiction Counseling… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist type of instantaneously and after that I think a nice part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly useful for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it sort of gives you a fast outlet for those things and maybe they do not build up in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling in this manner you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they examine that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she examines hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about two actions a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely assist you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message since essentially they do a lot of these people appear to have maybe not practices however they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely instant in that regard like talking about things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of discuss it like a regular conversation but with talk space you might say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and after that they might state oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your pals you understand what I suggest like you can call somebody and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something excellent to think of you know something that did trouble me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it seems to be a great bit more affordable than entering to talk to someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the actual cost like here somebody it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking really because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any problems about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I guess that does not matter because like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I do not know that was just something I considered but that’s.

not very crucial but overall I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been very good up until now um I mean it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be hard opening up to these people just because you’re not there in person and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with regular typical therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about but I’m unsure just how much that in fact is simply me having an issue opening up to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I literally can’t make a video without whatever failing at once however back here so I just wished to offer some like last thoughts I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to give a brief summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit hard if you have some issues that are appearance I think it’s really good for like tension kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have actually like been just having a lot of like think you’re not small but like smaller things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and everything and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve said that earlier but I do have stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like diagnosed or anything with depression um however I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not utilized that for that long so I do not know it’s summertime here so generally I believe it’s really excellent if you you know can’t make it to appointments if you have an actually hectic task or something like that I think also another truly great actually terrific candidate to use talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I haven’t.
