texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Addiction Therapy… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of immediately and after that I believe a nice part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day or even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really useful for individuals with anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it kind of offers you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I actually like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to talk about if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they check that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she examines hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like undoubtedly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message because essentially they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not very instant in that regard like talking about things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest however you may need to wait a bit longer to go over things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of speak about it like a normal conversation however with talk area you might state this and after that it might be five hours later and then they may say oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your buddies you know what I indicate like you can call somebody and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand finished with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think about you understand something that did bother me a bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it appears to be an excellent bit less expensive than going in to speak to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real price like here somebody it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re probably talking actually because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have really any problems about it aside from maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that does not matter because like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I do not know that was simply something I considered however that’s.

not very important however general I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great so far um I mean it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be hard opening up to these people even if you’re not there in person and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with regular normal therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about but I’m not exactly sure how much that in fact is just me having a problem opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I literally can’t make a video without whatever going wrong simultaneously but back here so I simply wished to provide some like final thoughts I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I type of wanted to provide a quick summary and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit hard if you have some concerns that are appearance I think it’s really good for like stress type of things and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not small however like smaller sized things than like my general anxiety and like what activates me and everything and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I suggest I guess I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like diagnosed or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I really like to state that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer season here so generally I believe it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have an actually busy task or something like that I believe likewise another really great actually great candidate to use talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I haven’t.
