Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Bootstrap… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of immediately and after that I think a nice part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day or even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly helpful for individuals with stress and anxiety or with depression with journalism of ideas it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they might if you need to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s actually cool I actually like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling this way you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she inspects hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 actions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can most likely help you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message since generally they do a lot of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely immediate in that regard like discussing things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you may have to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re discussing things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a normal conversation however with talk space you might state this and then it might be 5 hours later and after that they might say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your good friends you understand what I imply like you can call somebody and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you understand something that did bother me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a good bit more affordable than going in to speak to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real price like here somebody it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking actually because like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter because like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was just something I thought of however that’s.

not extremely important but total I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has actually been great up until now um I suggest it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals even if you’re not there in person and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with normal normal therapy so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m uncertain just how much that actually is simply me having a problem opening up to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at once but back here so I just wanted to give some like final ideas I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to provide a quick summary and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it says it’s supposed to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some problems that are look I think it’s really good for like stress type of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have actually like been just having a great deal of like think you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my basic anxiety and like what triggers me and everything and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I imply I think I should’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with depression um however I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer season here so essentially I believe it’s really good if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have an actually busy task or something like that I believe likewise another really fantastic really excellent prospect to utilize talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I haven’t. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also do not like insurance is really spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be guaranteed anyhow but like I require to exercise some insurance stuff before I even like think about this so I mean I believe it’s a fantastic service I have seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk space and after that there’s another one that a youtuber I actually enjoy I enjoy all of her videos and she talked about it but I do not remember what that one was called I can insert it here again and that’s like something similar so if you wish to look into that a person to compare them the reason I wound up getting talk space was due to the fact that my boyfriend was type of pressing me to do something to do therapy since he knew that I was going through a lot of stress so so he kind of was the one who was saying hey you must really speak with someone and he knew about talk space therefore that was the one that he really suggested me to utilize that he for he’s heard a lot of like good things about however again like it’s actually like discussed a lot through sponsorships and that’s basically the only way I have actually ever become aware of it I have not truly become aware of it unn sponsored and I’m most likely gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to publish this however yeah I believe it’s I believe it’s a fantastic service for what it is I believe it’s not for everybody though um and I believe like I was kind of beginning to say prior to if you have much deeper problems if you have bad anxiety if you have bad anxiety I believe that it is very important to be seeing someone personally especially if it’s you know things that it’s just it’s it’s more difficult to talk about more thorough issues there’s something I have actually sort of seen like obviously these are deep.
