texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Columbia Study… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of immediately and after that I believe a good part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really handy for individuals with anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it kind of offers you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they do not build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I actually like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to talk about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like obviously if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely assist you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message since essentially they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not very instant in that regard like talking about things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you might need to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a typical conversation however with talk area you might state this and then it might be five hours later on and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your pals you understand what I mean like you can call someone and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know finished with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you understand something that did bother me a bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it seems to be a great bit less expensive than going in to speak to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real price like here somebody it has to do with that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions each month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking truly because like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s sort of great the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have really any problems about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that doesn’t matter because like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not understand that was just something I thought of however that’s.

not very important but general I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great so far um I indicate it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these people even if you’re not there personally and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with normal regular therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been considering but I’m not exactly sure just how much that really is just me having a problem opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong simultaneously however back here so I just wanted to provide some like last thoughts I guess I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to give a quick introduction and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a good service I believe it does what it states it’s supposed to do I think it’s a bit difficult if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s actually good for like stress kind of things and I haven’t been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not little but like smaller things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I suggest I think I ought to’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have depression but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I do not know it’s summer here so generally I believe it’s truly great if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have an actually hectic job or something like that I think likewise another really great actually great prospect to utilize talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not.
