Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp.Combc… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly practical for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it sort of provides you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a big professional um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling this way you know I think it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t know what they call it they examine that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she examines hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely assist you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message since basically they do a great deal of these people seem to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely instant because regard like discussing things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a typical discussion but with talk area you may state this and then it might be five hours later on and then they might state oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your good friends you know what I mean like you can call someone and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand finished with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something excellent to consider you know something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it seems to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to speak with someone it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the real rate like here somebody it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions each month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have really any complaints about it other than maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that doesn’t matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I thought of however that’s.

not very crucial however overall I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be hard opening to these people even if you’re not there face to face and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with normal typical therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did intend to have a little bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking about but I’m uncertain how much that actually is just me having a problem opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without everything going wrong simultaneously but back here so I just wished to give some like last thoughts I think I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to provide a brief overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a great service I believe it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I believe it’s actually great for like stress kind of stuff and I have not been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not little however like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I think I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like diagnosed or anything with depression um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer season here so generally I believe it’s actually great if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have a really busy task or something like that I think also another really excellent actually great candidate to use talk area would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I haven’t.
