Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Employees… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking of things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist sort of instantaneously and then I think a nice part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually valuable for people with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with the press of ideas it sort of offers you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that very same thing is that things just take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling in this manner you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she examines hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two actions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message since generally they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have perhaps not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really instantaneous in that regard like discussing things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a bit longer to go over things and if you’re discussing things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of discuss it like a regular conversation however with talk space you might state this and then it might be five hours later on and after that they might say oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your friends you understand what I mean like you can call someone and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your discussion at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something excellent to think about you know something that did trouble me a bit in the beginning yeah the one good idea to it seems to be a good bit more affordable than going in to talk to somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here someone it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking truly since like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I do not have truly any problems about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I don’t understand that was simply something I thought about however that’s.

not very important but overall I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent up until now um I imply it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these people even if you’re not there personally and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with regular typical therapy so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been considering however I’m uncertain just how much that really is just me having an issue opening up to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at the same time however back here so I simply wanted to give some like last ideas I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I type of wanted to give a short introduction and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it states it’s expected to do I believe it’s a bit hard if you have some problems that are look I think it’s really great for like tension type of things and I have not been having a great deal of like that example like I have actually like been just having a great deal of like believe you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I imply I think I ought to’ve stated that earlier but I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with depression um however I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer here so generally I think it’s truly good if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have a really hectic task or something like that I think also another actually fantastic really terrific candidate to use talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t.
