Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp For Ocd… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking of things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist sort of instantly and then I think a great part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really handy for people with anxiety or with depression with journalism of thoughts it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you know I think it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she examines hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like undoubtedly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message since generally they do a lot of these individuals appear to have maybe not practices however they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really rapid because regard like discussing things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you may need to wait a bit longer to go over things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of discuss it like a regular conversation but with talk space you may state this and after that it might be 5 hours later and after that they might say oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your friends you know what I mean like you can call somebody and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something good to consider you know something that did trouble me a little bit at first yeah the one good thing to it appears to be a great bit less expensive than going in to talk with someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the actual cost like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have really any problems about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I don’t understand that was just something I considered but that’s.

not extremely essential but total I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been excellent so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be tough opening up to these people just because you’re not there personally and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with typical normal therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did intend to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m not sure just how much that in fact is just me having a problem opening up to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing at once but back here so I just wished to offer some like last thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to provide a short overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s an excellent service I think it does what it states it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit hard if you have some problems that are appearance I think it’s truly great for like stress type of stuff and I have not been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not small but like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I imply I think I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I do not I’m not like diagnosed or anything with depression um but I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have depression but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summertime here so essentially I believe it’s truly good if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have a really hectic job or something like that I think also another really excellent really fantastic prospect to use talk area would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
