Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp/Gabbie… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can discuss it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually helpful for people with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it sort of gives you a fast outlet for those things and maybe they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I think that’s really cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to speak about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling by doing this you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she inspects hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message due to the fact that basically they do a lot of these people appear to have perhaps not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really rapid because regard like going over things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a typical discussion however with talk space you may state this and then it might be five hours later on and then they may say oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your good friends you understand what I imply like you can call someone and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think about you know something that did trouble me a bit initially yeah the one good idea to it appears to be a great bit cheaper than going in to talk with somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the actual cost like here somebody it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking actually due to the fact that like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more assistance I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any complaints about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter because like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I do not understand that was simply something I considered but that’s.

not really important but overall I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been excellent up until now um I imply it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be tough opening to these individuals even if you’re not there personally and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with typical regular treatment so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m not exactly sure just how much that in fact is just me having an issue opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong simultaneously but back here so I simply wanted to offer some like last thoughts I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I type of wished to give a quick introduction and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some issues that are look I think it’s actually good for like stress type of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not small however like smaller sized things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I suggest I think I must’ve said that earlier however I do have anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I do not know it’s summertime here so generally I believe it’s actually good if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have a really busy task or something like that I think likewise another actually terrific really great prospect to use talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t.
