Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Google Play… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can discuss it with your therapist sort of instantly and then I believe a great part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really practical for people with anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it kind of provides you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I actually like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to talk about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling this way you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they inspect that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message since basically they do a lot of these people seem to have perhaps not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely rapid because regard like discussing things it’s rapid that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of speak about it like a normal discussion but with talk area you might say this and then it might be five hours later and after that they might state oh well this and after that it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your buddies you know what I imply like you can call someone and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think about you know something that did bother me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one good idea to it appears to be a great bit less expensive than going in to speak to somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here somebody it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that consists of for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking truly because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any problems about it other than maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter because like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I don’t know that was simply something I thought about but that’s.

not very essential but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been very good so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening up to these individuals even if you’re not there personally and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with typical regular therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m uncertain just how much that actually is simply me having a problem opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I literally can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at the same time but back here so I just wanted to offer some like final ideas I guess I do not want this to be too long of a video I type of wished to give a short introduction and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I believe it does what it says it’s supposed to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I believe it’s actually helpful for like tension type of things and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have actually like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not little however like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I suggest I guess I need to’ve said that earlier however I do have anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like diagnosed or anything with anxiety um but I do certainly like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to say that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer here so basically I think it’s actually good if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have a really hectic task or something like that I think likewise another truly fantastic truly fantastic prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you just if you take a trip in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I have not.
