Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Ipo… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re considering things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly handy for individuals with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of ideas it kind of offers you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a big professional um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you select to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not understand what they call it they check that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she checks hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two actions a day about like undoubtedly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message due to the fact that basically they do a lot of these people seem to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely rapid in that regard like talking about things it’s rapid that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you may have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na kind of discuss it like a regular discussion but with talk space you might say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and after that they might say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your buddies you know what I mean like you can call someone and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something good to think about you know something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be a good bit more affordable than going in to speak with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual price like here somebody it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s sort of nice the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have really any complaints about it other than maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that does not matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I considered but that’s.

not really essential however total I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent up until now um I suggest it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be hard opening to these individuals just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with normal typical therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did intend to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking about however I’m uncertain just how much that actually is simply me having an issue opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing at the same time however back here so I simply wished to give some like last thoughts I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to give a brief overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a good service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some issues that are look I believe it’s truly great for like stress kind of things and I have not been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not little but like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I think I must’ve said that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I truly like to state that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer here so basically I believe it’s really good if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have an actually hectic task or something like that I believe also another actually terrific really terrific prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or possibly you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I have not.
