Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Isolation… sort of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist sort of instantly and then I think a good part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or even if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually handy for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it type of gives you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they inspect that two times a day or at least my therapist told me that she inspects hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message because essentially they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very immediate because regard like discussing things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a typical conversation however with talk space you may state this and then it might be 5 hours later and after that they may state oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making strategies with your buddies you understand what I mean like you can call someone and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something excellent to think of you know something that did bother me a bit in the beginning yeah the one good thing to it seems to be a good bit less expensive than going in to speak to somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the actual price like here someone it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually because like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s sort of nice the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any grievances about it besides possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was just something I thought about however that’s.

not very important but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been excellent so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these individuals just because you’re not there in person and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with typical regular treatment so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did intend to have a bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been considering however I’m not exactly sure how much that actually is just me having an issue opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing simultaneously but back here so I just wanted to offer some like last thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to give a quick summary and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I think it does what it says it’s supposed to do I think it’s a little bit hard if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s truly good for like stress type of things and I have not been having a lot of like that example like I have like been just having a great deal of like think you’re not small but like smaller sized things than like my basic anxiety and like what triggers me and everything and like depressive ideas so um yeah I mean I think I ought to’ve stated that earlier however I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to say that I have depression but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not utilized that for that long so I do not understand it’s summertime here so basically I think it’s truly great if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have a truly busy task or something like that I think also another actually fantastic actually terrific prospect to use talk area would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re traveling overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be an excellent thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I have not. concerns due to the fact that they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making distressed or depressed but I tend to find that it’s a bit better for just more I’m truly nervous about starting a new task I am truly nervous about you understand finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not really like existential things um however like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some stuff then I think it would be excellent um it also depends upon like how comfy you resemble speaking with a phone like I know that that sounds odd however like do you video chat with your pals do you you understand what I mean since if you don’t then I feel like it’s gon na be truly odd like you holding up a phone or like talking to your laptop since it’s gon na resemble this unusual like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s sort of like alright whatever like this is normal that’s something I saw I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of utilized to it however I seemed like when I was doing it this would be weird if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would definitely advise it to any person who travels like full-time because that would be awesome like then you might actually have therapy if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
