Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Jami White… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of immediately and then I think a good part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really practical for individuals with anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it kind of gives you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would say that’s a huge professional um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling by doing this you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not understand what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely assist you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message due to the fact that essentially they do a great deal of these individuals seem to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely immediate in that regard like going over things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of speak about it like a typical conversation but with talk area you may say this and then it might be 5 hours later and then they may say oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your good friends you understand what I indicate like you can call somebody and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know finished with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something excellent to consider you understand something that did trouble me a little bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to speak to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here somebody it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking actually due to the fact that like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s sort of good the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I do not have truly any complaints about it aside from perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was just something I thought of but that’s.

not really important but general I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has actually been very good up until now um I mean it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening up to these individuals just because you’re not there personally and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with regular typical treatment so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m not sure just how much that really is simply me having an issue opening to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing simultaneously but back here so I just wanted to offer some like last thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to provide a short overview and after that like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s a great service I believe it does what it says it’s expected to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I believe it’s truly good for like tension kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have actually like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like diagnosed or anything with anxiety um but I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to state that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I do not know it’s summertime here so essentially I believe it’s actually good if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly busy job or something like that I think also another actually terrific actually fantastic prospect to utilize talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I likewise don’t like insurance is really spotty with this so it depends upon if you ‘d be guaranteed anyway but like I need to work out some insurance coverage stuff before I even like consider this so I indicate I believe it’s a terrific service I have seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk space and then there’s another one that a youtuber I truly love I watch all of her videos and she spoke about it however I don’t remember what that a person was called I can place it here once again and that resembles something similar so if you want to check out that a person to compare them the factor I wound up getting talk area was due to the fact that my sweetheart was kind of pushing me to do something to do therapy due to the fact that he knew that I was going through a great deal of stress so so he sort of was the one who was stating hey you should actually speak to someone and he learnt about talk space therefore that was the one that he actually suggested me to use that he for he’s heard a lot of like advantages about but once again like it’s really like discussed a lot through sponsorships and that’s basically the only method I’ve ever become aware of it I have not truly become aware of it unn sponsored and I’m most likely gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to post this however yeah I believe it’s I believe it’s a great service for what it is I think it’s not for everyone though um and I believe like I was kind of beginning to say prior to if you have deeper concerns if you have bad stress and anxiety if you have bad anxiety I think that it is very important to be seeing someone face to face particularly if it’s you know things that it’s just it’s it’s more difficult to speak about more extensive problems there’s something I’ve sort of seen like undoubtedly these are deep.
issues since they resemble things of your mind and they’re things that resemble worrying you or things that are making depressed or nervous however I tend to find that it’s a little bit better for just more I’m truly nervous about starting a new job I am really anxious about you understand graduating going to school you know stuff like that that’s not truly like existential things um however like I stated if you are experiencing more simply you’re going through some things then I believe it would be great um it also depends on like how comfortable you are like talking with a phone like I understand that that sounds strange but like do you video chat with your buddies do you you know what I mean because if you do not then I seem like it’s gon na be truly odd like you holding up a phone or like talking with your laptop due to the fact that it’s gon na be like this weird like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s sort of like alright whatever like this is typical that’s something I discovered I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m kind of utilized to it but I seemed like when I was doing it this would be strange if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would certainly recommend it to anybody who takes a trip like full-time since that would be amazing like then you might in fact have treatment if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
