Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp/Kats… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and after that I think a good part about that is if you have an idea sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly helpful for individuals with anxiety or with depression with journalism of thoughts it kind of gives you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they do not build up in in your mind as much as they might if you need to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I think that’s really cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to talk about if you select to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling by doing this you know I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they inspect that two times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message because basically they do a lot of these individuals appear to have perhaps not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really instantaneous because regard like discussing things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of talk about it like a typical conversation but with talk space you may state this and after that it might be five hours later and after that they may state oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your good friends you understand what I mean like you can call somebody and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know finished with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think of you know something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than entering to speak with someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here someone it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have really any grievances about it aside from maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I don’t understand that was just something I thought of however that’s.
