Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Lpgp… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be really useful for people with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I think that’s actually cool I really like it for that I would say that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t know what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like clearly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message because basically they do a lot of these people seem to have maybe not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely instantaneous in that regard like going over things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest however you may have to wait a bit longer to go over things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of discuss it like a regular conversation however with talk space you might state this and then it might be five hours later and after that they may state oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your good friends you know what I imply like you can call someone and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something excellent to consider you understand something that did bother me a bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to talk to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual rate like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking actually due to the fact that like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s type of good the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have really any problems about it aside from possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I thought about but that’s.

not really essential but total I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been very good up until now um I indicate it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals even if you’re not there personally and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with typical typical therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of difficulty opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about but I’m unsure how much that in fact is just me having a problem opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I literally can’t make a video without whatever failing at the same time however back here so I simply wished to provide some like last ideas I think I do not desire this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to provide a brief summary and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s an excellent service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I think it’s really great for like stress type of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not small but like smaller sized things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve said that earlier but I do have anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I actually like to say that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summertime here so basically I think it’s actually good if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have a really hectic task or something like that I believe also another actually terrific really excellent candidate to use talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t. personally discovered a therapist that I like around here and I also do not like insurance is really spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be insured anyway but like I require to exercise some insurance coverage things before I even like think about this so I suggest I think it’s a great service I have actually seen a great deal of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk area and after that there’s another one that a youtuber I truly like I enjoy all of her videos and she spoke about it however I do not remember what that one was called I can insert it here again and that’s like something similar so if you wish to look into that one to compare them the factor I wound up getting talk area was since my partner was kind of pressing me to do something to do treatment since he knew that I was going through a lot of tension so so he sort of was the one who was saying hey you ought to truly speak with someone and he knew about talk space therefore that was the one that he truly suggested me to use that he for he’s heard a great deal of like good things about but once again like it’s actually like spoken about a lot through sponsorships which’s practically the only method I’ve ever heard of it I have not actually heard of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored reviews as I go to post this but yeah I think it’s I think it’s a fantastic service for what it is I think it’s not for everybody though um and I think like I was sort of beginning to state before if you have much deeper problems if you have bad stress and anxiety if you have bad depression I think that it is very important to be seeing someone in person especially if it’s you know things that it’s just it’s it’s harder to discuss more extensive problems there’s something I’ve kind of noticed like undoubtedly these are deep.
concerns due to the fact that they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble worrying you or things that are making anxious or depressed however I tend to find that it’s a bit better for simply more I’m truly anxious about beginning a new job I am really nervous about you know finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not truly like existential things um however like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some things then I believe it would be fantastic um it also depends on like how comfy you resemble talking to a phone like I understand that that sounds weird but like do you video chat with your pals do you you know what I imply due to the fact that if you do not then I seem like it’s gon na be really weird like you holding up a phone or like talking with your laptop computer since it’s gon na resemble this strange like synthetic thing however like if you’re used to that then it’s kind of like okay whatever like this is regular that’s something I discovered I do talk on facetiming a bit so I seem like I’m kind of used to it but I felt like when I was doing it this would be weird if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would absolutely suggest it to anyone who travels like full-time because that would be awesome like then you might actually have therapy if that’s not something that is an alternative to you.
