Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Om… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can discuss it with your therapist kind of immediately and after that I believe a good part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly valuable for individuals with anxiety or with depression with journalism of ideas it type of gives you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling this way you understand I think it’s because of this or this they might state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists examine there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not understand what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two reactions a day about like obviously if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message since essentially they do a lot of these people seem to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very instant in that regard like discussing things it’s rapid that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you might have to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a regular conversation but with talk space you may state this and after that it might be 5 hours later and then they may state oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making plans with your buddies you understand what I indicate like you can call somebody and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your conversation at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something good to consider you understand something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a great bit less expensive than going in to talk with someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here somebody it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking truly due to the fact that like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it aside from maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I don’t understand that was simply something I thought of but that’s.

not extremely essential however general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has actually been great so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals even if you’re not there face to face and you’re not face to face rather as much as you would be with normal normal therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about but I’m not sure just how much that actually is simply me having an issue opening up to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I literally can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at once but back here so I simply wanted to give some like last ideas I guess I do not desire this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to give a brief introduction and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it states it’s expected to do I believe it’s a bit hard if you have some problems that are appearance I think it’s actually helpful for like stress kind of stuff and I have not been having a great deal of like that example like I have actually like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not little but like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I suggest I guess I must’ve said that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um however I do definitely like depressive ideas and like I truly like to say that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer here so essentially I think it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have an actually hectic job or something like that I believe likewise another really terrific actually excellent prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be an excellent thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I haven’t.
