Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Or Talkspace… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist type of immediately and after that I think a great part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be really valuable for people with anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it sort of gives you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s really cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you select to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like clearly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message because generally they do a great deal of these people appear to have maybe not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very immediate because regard like going over things it’s instant that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you might have to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a normal discussion however with talk area you might state this and after that it might be 5 hours later and after that they might state oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your pals you know what I imply like you can call someone and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something good to think of you understand something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a great bit less expensive than going in to speak to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here someone it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking actually because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I do not have truly any complaints about it aside from possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I don’t know that was just something I thought about but that’s.
