Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Outside Us… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I believe a great part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually useful for individuals with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with the press of ideas it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a big pro um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to talk about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling this way you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she inspects hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message since generally they do a great deal of these individuals seem to have perhaps not practices however they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very rapid in that regard like talking about things it’s immediate that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na sort of speak about it like a typical conversation however with talk area you might say this and after that it might be 5 hours later on and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your good friends you understand what I mean like you can call somebody and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your conversation at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something excellent to think about you know something that did trouble me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to talk with somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the real rate like here someone it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking truly because like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have actually any complaints about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t understand that was simply something I thought of however that’s.

not extremely essential but general I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great so far um I indicate it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these people just because you’re not there personally and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with typical normal treatment so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been considering however I’m not sure how much that really is just me having a problem opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing at the same time but back here so I just wanted to offer some like final ideas I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to provide a short overview and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I believe it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit difficult if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s truly great for like stress type of things and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve said that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like diagnosed or anything with depression um but I do certainly like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to state that I have depression but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s actually great if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly busy task or something like that I believe likewise another actually excellent really fantastic prospect to use talk area would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I have not.
