Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Psychopath… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can discuss it with your therapist type of instantly and then I believe a great part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually handy for individuals with anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it type of offers you a fast outlet for those things and maybe they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a huge professional um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling by doing this you know I think it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like undoubtedly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a moment they can most likely help you but it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message because basically they do a lot of these people appear to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not very instantaneous in that regard like discussing things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a typical discussion but with talk area you might say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and then they may say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your good friends you understand what I imply like you can call someone and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know finished with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something great to think about you know something that did trouble me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one good idea to it seems to be an excellent bit more affordable than entering to talk to somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the actual rate like here someone it has to do with that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking actually since like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s sort of good the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it other than maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I don’t know that was just something I considered however that’s.

not really essential however total I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent so far um I indicate it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals even if you’re not there personally and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with regular normal therapy so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did intend to have a bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I’ve been considering however I’m not sure how much that really is simply me having an issue opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I actually can’t make a video without everything going wrong at once however back here so I just wanted to offer some like last thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to provide a short overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a good service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit hard if you have some issues that are look I believe it’s really great for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not small but like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and everything and like depressive ideas so um yeah I imply I think I ought to’ve stated that earlier but I do have stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I really like to say that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summertime here so basically I think it’s truly excellent if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have an actually hectic job or something like that I believe also another actually great truly fantastic prospect to use talk area would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be an excellent thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t. concerns due to the fact that they resemble things of your mind and they’re things that are like worrying you or things that are making depressed or distressed but I tend to find that it’s a bit much better for just more I’m actually nervous about beginning a new job I am really nervous about you understand finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not actually like existential things um however like I said if you are experiencing more simply you’re going through some stuff then I think it would be excellent um it also depends upon like how comfortable you are like speaking with a phone like I know that that sounds weird however like do you video chat with your friends do you you know what I mean since if you don’t then I seem like it’s gon na be actually weird like you holding up a phone or like speaking with your laptop because it’s gon na resemble this weird like synthetic thing however like if you’re utilized to that then it’s sort of like fine whatever like this is regular that’s something I observed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of utilized to it however I felt like when I was doing it this would be weird if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would absolutely advise it to anyone who travels like full-time because that would be remarkable like then you might actually have treatment if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
