Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Betterhelp Requirements… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist sort of instantaneously and after that I think a good part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly helpful for people with anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it sort of provides you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things just take a lot longer to talk about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling in this manner you know I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they check that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message because essentially they do a lot of these people appear to have perhaps not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really immediate because regard like going over things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems which you can get that off your chest but you may need to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of discuss it like a typical discussion but with talk area you might say this and then it might be five hours later and after that they might state oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making plans with your buddies you understand what I suggest like you can call someone and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something excellent to consider you understand something that did trouble me a little bit at first yeah the one advantage to it seems to be a great bit more affordable than going in to talk to someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the real cost like here someone it has to do with that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking really since like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I do not have really any complaints about it besides possibly like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I thought of but that’s.

not extremely important but general I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has actually been excellent up until now um I mean it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be hard opening up to these people just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with normal normal treatment so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about however I’m not exactly sure how much that in fact is just me having an issue opening up to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing at the same time however back here so I just wanted to offer some like final ideas I guess I do not desire this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to provide a brief introduction and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I think it’s actually great for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not little however like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and everything and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I guess I should’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like diagnosed or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summertime here so essentially I believe it’s really good if you you know can’t make it to appointments if you have a really hectic job or something like that I believe likewise another actually excellent really fantastic prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re traveling overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be an excellent thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t.
