Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Stamford… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist type of immediately and then I believe a great part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be really practical for people with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it sort of offers you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling in this manner you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists inspect there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she examines hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two reactions a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message because generally they do a lot of these people seem to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not really rapid because regard like talking about things it’s rapid that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you may need to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a typical discussion but with talk area you may state this and then it might be five hours later and then they may state oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your friends you know what I mean like you can call somebody and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand made with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think about you understand something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than entering to talk to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the real price like here somebody it has to do with that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re probably talking truly because like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any problems about it besides possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I considered however that’s.

not extremely essential but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great up until now um I imply it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these people just because you’re not there personally and you’re not face to face rather as much as you would be with normal normal therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m unsure just how much that in fact is simply me having a problem opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong simultaneously however back here so I just wanted to offer some like last ideas I guess I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I type of wished to provide a brief summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit tough if you have some issues that are look I believe it’s really great for like stress type of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have actually like been simply having a great deal of like believe you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I think I should’ve said that earlier but I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with depression um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer here so essentially I believe it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have a truly busy job or something like that I think also another actually great truly great candidate to utilize talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also do not like insurance coverage is actually spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be guaranteed anyhow but like I need to work out some insurance things prior to I even like think of this so I indicate I think it’s an excellent service I have actually seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk space and then there’s another one that a youtuber I actually love I watch all of her videos and she spoke about it however I don’t remember what that one was called I can place it here again and that’s like something comparable so if you want to look into that a person to compare them the factor I wound up getting talk space was since my boyfriend was sort of pressing me to do something to do treatment due to the fact that he knew that I was going through a great deal of stress so so he kind of was the one who was saying hey you should really speak to someone and he learnt about talk space and so that was the one that he truly recommended me to use that he for he’s heard a great deal of like good ideas about but again like it’s really like talked about a lot through sponsorships and that’s basically the only way I have actually ever become aware of it I haven’t really become aware of it unn sponsored and I’m most likely gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to post this but yeah I believe it’s I think it’s an excellent service for what it is I think it’s not for everybody though um and I think like I was kind of beginning to state before if you have deeper issues if you have bad anxiety if you have bad depression I think that it is necessary to be seeing somebody in person specifically if it’s you know things that it’s simply it’s it’s more difficult to talk about more thorough issues there’s something I’ve kind of noticed like certainly these are deep.
problems due to the fact that they resemble things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making anxious or depressed but I tend to find that it’s a bit much better for simply more I’m truly anxious about beginning a brand-new job I am really nervous about you understand graduating going to school you know stuff like that that’s not truly like existential things um but like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some things then I think it would be fantastic um it also depends upon like how comfy you resemble speaking to a phone like I know that that sounds unusual however like do you video chat with your buddies do you you know what I mean since if you don’t then I seem like it’s gon na be actually weird like you holding up a phone or like talking with your laptop computer since it’s gon na resemble this odd like artificial thing however like if you’re used to that then it’s sort of like alright whatever like this is normal that’s something I observed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m kind of used to it but I seemed like when I was doing it this would be unusual if I didn’t um so yeah like I said I would absolutely advise it to anyone who takes a trip like full-time because that would be incredible like then you might really have therapy if that’s not something that is an alternative to you.
