Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Test… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist type of instantaneously and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually helpful for individuals with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it sort of provides you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling this way you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t know what they call it they check that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message due to the fact that generally they do a lot of these people appear to have perhaps not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not very rapid because regard like going over things it’s rapid that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a little bit longer to go over things and if you’re discussing things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of talk about it like a typical discussion but with talk area you might state this and then it might be 5 hours later and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making strategies with your good friends you know what I indicate like you can call someone and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something excellent to think about you know something that did trouble me a little bit initially yeah the one good idea to it seems to be an excellent bit more affordable than entering to talk to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual cost like here someone it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking really since like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s sort of good the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I thought about but that’s.

not extremely essential but overall I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been very good up until now um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be tough opening up to these individuals even if you’re not there in person and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with regular typical treatment so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did intend to have a bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been considering but I’m unsure just how much that in fact is just me having a problem opening up to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I actually can’t make a video without everything going wrong at the same time however back here so I simply wanted to offer some like last thoughts I guess I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to provide a brief overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I believe it does what it states it’s supposed to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some concerns that are look I believe it’s actually good for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have actually like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my basic anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I mean I guess I need to’ve said that earlier but I do have anxiety like generalized anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like diagnosed or anything with anxiety um however I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I actually like to state that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s really great if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly hectic task or something like that I think likewise another really excellent really fantastic prospect to utilize talk area would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a great thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I have not.
