Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Therapist Or… sort of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking of things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a good part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly useful for individuals with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with the press of ideas it kind of offers you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a big professional um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you select to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling by doing this you know I think it’s because of this or this they might state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t know what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like clearly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely assist you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message because basically they do a lot of these people appear to have maybe not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very instantaneous because regard like talking about things it’s immediate that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you may have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a regular discussion however with talk space you might say this and after that it might be five hours later on and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your friends you know what I indicate like you can call someone and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you know something that did trouble me a bit in the beginning yeah the one good idea to it seems to be a great bit cheaper than going in to talk with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real price like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I thought about however that’s.

not really important however total I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent so far um I indicate it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be hard opening to these individuals even if you’re not there face to face and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with typical normal therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of difficulty opening so it’s been something that I’ve been considering but I’m unsure just how much that actually is simply me having a problem opening up to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I actually can’t make a video without everything failing at the same time but back here so I just wanted to offer some like final ideas I think I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I type of wanted to offer a short introduction and after that like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it states it’s supposed to do I think it’s a little bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I think it’s really good for like stress type of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I suggest I guess I must’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like detected or anything with depression um however I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I actually like to say that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer here so essentially I believe it’s truly great if you you know can’t make it to appointments if you have an actually hectic job or something like that I believe also another actually great actually fantastic prospect to use talk area would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
