texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Tufts… kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you want to you can discuss it with your therapist sort of instantaneously and then I believe a good part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly useful for individuals with anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it kind of gives you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they do not build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a huge professional um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling this way you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 actions a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message because essentially they do a lot of these individuals appear to have perhaps not practices however they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really immediate because regard like talking about things it’s instant that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you may have to wait a bit longer to go over things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of discuss it like a normal conversation but with talk space you may say this and then it might be five hours later and then they might state oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your buddies you understand what I suggest like you can call someone and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to consider you understand something that did bother me a bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be an excellent bit less expensive than going in to talk to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here someone it’s about that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking really because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I do not have truly any problems about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was just something I thought about however that’s.
