Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Betterhelp Types Of Therapy… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking of things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I believe a great part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly useful for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it type of gives you a fast outlet for those things and maybe they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s actually cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you know I think it’s because of this or this they might state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like obviously if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message because essentially they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have perhaps not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely instant because regard like going over things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of discuss it like a regular conversation but with talk area you might state this and then it might be 5 hours later on and then they may say oh well this and after that it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making plans with your good friends you understand what I imply like you can call somebody and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand finished with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s simply something great to think of you understand something that did trouble me a bit initially yeah the one good idea to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to talk to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual rate like here somebody it has to do with that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more assistance I would say so that’s sort of nice the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have really any grievances about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I do not know that was just something I thought of but that’s.

not very essential but total I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has actually been excellent so far um I mean it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these people even if you’re not there in person and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with normal typical treatment so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m unsure how much that really is simply me having a problem opening up to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at once but back here so I just wished to give some like final ideas I guess I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to provide a short overview and after that like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit hard if you have some problems that are look I believe it’s really great for like stress kind of things and I have not been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been just having a great deal of like believe you’re not small however like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I think I must’ve stated that earlier but I do have anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I really like to say that I have depression but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so basically I think it’s really great if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have an actually busy task or something like that I believe also another actually excellent actually terrific candidate to utilize talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I haven’t. concerns because they resemble things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making nervous or depressed but I tend to find that it’s a little bit much better for just more I’m really distressed about beginning a new task I am really distressed about you know graduating going to school you know stuff like that that’s not actually like existential things um but like I said if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some things then I think it would be fantastic um it also depends on like how comfortable you resemble speaking to a phone like I know that that sounds weird however like do you video chat with your buddies do you you understand what I mean since if you don’t then I seem like it’s gon na be actually unusual like you holding up a phone or like speaking with your laptop due to the fact that it’s gon na be like this strange like artificial thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s type of like all right whatever like this is regular that’s something I observed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of utilized to it however I felt like when I was doing it this would be unusual if I didn’t um so yeah like I said I would certainly suggest it to any person who takes a trip like full-time since that would be amazing like then you could in fact have therapy if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
