texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Clinical Director Betterhelp… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking of things you wish to you can discuss it with your therapist sort of instantaneously and then I think a great part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly practical for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it type of provides you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling this way you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she examines hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely help you however it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message since basically they do a lot of these people seem to have perhaps not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very rapid because regard like discussing things it’s rapid that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest but you might have to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a normal discussion however with talk space you might say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and after that they might say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your friends you know what I imply like you can call someone and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand made with your discussion at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something good to think of you know something that did trouble me a little bit initially yeah the one good thing to it seems to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to talk with somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the real cost like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I do not have actually any complaints about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter because like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not understand that was simply something I considered however that’s.

not extremely essential but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great so far um I indicate it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be hard opening to these people just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with normal typical therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of however I’m uncertain just how much that really is simply me having a problem opening to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without whatever failing simultaneously but back here so I just wished to provide some like last ideas I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to provide a brief introduction and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it says it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some problems that are look I believe it’s really good for like stress type of things and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my general anxiety and like what activates me and everything and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I guess I must’ve said that earlier but I do have anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have depression however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so generally I believe it’s really great if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly busy job or something like that I believe likewise another actually fantastic truly terrific prospect to use talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
