Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Community Support & Associate Indeed Betterhelp… sort of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you want to you can discuss it with your therapist type of immediately and then I think a nice part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day and even if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be really handy for people with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of ideas it type of gives you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they do not build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that exact same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling this way you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they examine that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like obviously if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message because generally they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very instantaneous in that regard like discussing things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of discuss it like a regular discussion but with talk area you may say this and then it might be five hours later and after that they might say oh well this and then it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making strategies with your pals you know what I mean like you can call someone and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something excellent to consider you understand something that did trouble me a little bit initially yeah the one good idea to it seems to be a good bit less expensive than entering to speak with someone it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here someone it’s about that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re probably talking really because like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any problems about it other than possibly like you can’t see if they read it however like I guess that does not matter because like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was simply something I thought of but that’s.

not very crucial however overall I do like the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent up until now um I suggest it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these individuals just because you’re not there personally and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with typical regular therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a bit of trouble opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been considering however I’m uncertain just how much that really is just me having a problem opening to people or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing at once but back here so I just wished to offer some like final thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to give a short summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit difficult if you have some issues that are appearance I believe it’s actually helpful for like tension type of things and I have not been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have like been simply having a great deal of like think you’re not little but like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and everything and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I indicate I guess I need to’ve said that earlier however I do have actually anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I truly like to state that I have depression but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not utilized that for that long so I do not understand it’s summertime here so generally I believe it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have a truly busy task or something like that I think also another really fantastic really excellent candidate to utilize talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or maybe you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also don’t like insurance coverage is truly spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be guaranteed anyhow but like I require to work out some insurance things before I even like think of this so I indicate I think it’s a fantastic service I have seen a great deal of other sponsored interviews or like I have actually seen a number of other sponsor interviews for talk area and after that there’s another one that a youtuber I really enjoy I watch all of her videos and she discussed it however I don’t remember what that a person was called I can place it here once again which’s like something similar so if you want to check out that one to compare them the reason I ended up getting talk area was because my partner was kind of pushing me to do something to do therapy because he understood that I was going through a lot of stress so so he kind of was the one who was stating hey you must really talk to somebody and he learnt about talk area and so that was the one that he actually recommended me to utilize that he for he’s heard a lot of like good things about but again like it’s actually like spoken about a lot through sponsorships and that’s practically the only method I have actually ever heard of it I haven’t really heard of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to post this but yeah I think it’s I think it’s a great service for what it is I think it’s not for everybody though um and I believe like I was kind of starting to state prior to if you have much deeper issues if you have bad anxiety if you have bad depression I believe that it is necessary to be seeing somebody personally especially if it’s you know things that it’s simply it’s it’s harder to speak about more extensive issues there’s something I have actually kind of observed like clearly these are deep.
concerns due to the fact that they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that are like stressing you or things that are making depressed or distressed however I tend to find that it’s a bit better for simply more I’m truly anxious about starting a new job I am truly distressed about you understand finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not actually like existential things um however like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some stuff then I believe it would be terrific um it likewise depends upon like how comfy you resemble talking with a phone like I understand that that sounds weird however like do you video chat with your good friends do you you understand what I indicate since if you don’t then I feel like it’s gon na be really strange like you holding up a phone or like talking to your laptop computer due to the fact that it’s gon na resemble this strange like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s type of like fine whatever like this is regular that’s something I noticed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of utilized to it but I felt like when I was doing it this would be odd if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would definitely recommend it to anyone who takes a trip like full-time because that would be remarkable like then you could in fact have therapy if that’s not something that is an alternative to you.
