Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…David Pakman Betterhelp… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I believe a good part about that is if you have a thought kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually helpful for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of thoughts it sort of provides you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you need to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I truly like it for that I would say that’s a huge professional um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you select to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t know what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message since basically they do a great deal of these people appear to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really rapid in that regard like discussing things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a typical conversation however with talk space you may say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and then they might state oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your good friends you understand what I mean like you can call someone and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand made with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something excellent to consider you understand something that did trouble me a bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be a great bit more affordable than entering to speak with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual cost like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re most likely talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have really any problems about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I don’t understand that was simply something I considered but that’s.

not really crucial but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great up until now um I suggest it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these individuals just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with regular typical treatment so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have trouble opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking about however I’m not sure how much that really is just me having an issue opening up to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I literally can’t make a video without whatever failing at the same time but back here so I just wished to provide some like last ideas I think I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to offer a brief summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I think it does what it states it’s supposed to do I think it’s a little bit tough if you have some problems that are appearance I believe it’s truly great for like stress type of things and I have not been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not small but like smaller sized things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I imply I think I need to’ve stated that earlier but I do have anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um however I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I really like to say that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer season here so generally I think it’s truly excellent if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have a truly hectic task or something like that I believe also another actually excellent actually fantastic candidate to utilize talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
