Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…Google Play Betterhelp… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking of things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of immediately and then I think a good part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually handy for individuals with anxiety or with depression with journalism of thoughts it sort of gives you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to talk about if you pick to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling this way you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like obviously if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely help you however it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message due to the fact that essentially they do a great deal of these people seem to have possibly not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not very immediate in that regard like going over things it’s rapid that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest but you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na kind of speak about it like a regular discussion however with talk area you may state this and then it might be 5 hours later and after that they may say oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making plans with your friends you understand what I suggest like you can call someone and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something great to think of you know something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it seems to be a great bit cheaper than going in to speak with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the real price like here somebody it’s about that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions per month so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually since like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any grievances about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter because like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I thought of but that’s.

not very crucial but total I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great so far um I imply it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening to these people just because you’re not there in person and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with normal normal treatment so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have trouble opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a bit of difficulty opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m not sure just how much that actually is just me having an issue opening up to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got unusual and I literally can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at the same time but back here so I simply wished to provide some like final ideas I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to give a brief overview and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a good service I believe it does what it says it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit difficult if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s actually helpful for like tension kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I think I must’ve said that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with depression um however I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I truly like to say that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer here so essentially I believe it’s really good if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have an actually hectic task or something like that I think likewise another actually excellent truly terrific prospect to utilize talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I haven’t.
