Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s just that you can text them…How Many People Use Betterhelp… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I think a good part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually handy for people with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it kind of provides you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they do not develop in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to talk about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two reactions a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message since generally they do a lot of these people appear to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very instantaneous in that regard like going over things it’s immediate that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a typical discussion but with talk space you may state this and then it might be five hours later and then they might state oh well this and then it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your pals you know what I mean like you can call somebody and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you know something that did bother me a little bit at first yeah the one good idea to it appears to be a good bit less expensive than going in to speak with somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the actual rate like here someone it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re probably talking actually because like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s type of great the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have truly any problems about it other than maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I do not understand that was simply something I thought of however that’s.

not extremely essential but general I simulate the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great up until now um I suggest it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be hard opening up to these individuals just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with typical normal therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of difficulty opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking about but I’m not sure just how much that actually is simply me having an issue opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I literally can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at the same time but back here so I just wished to give some like final thoughts I think I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to offer a quick summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a great service I think it does what it states it’s expected to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s really helpful for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been just having a great deal of like think you’re not little but like smaller things than like my general anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I imply I guess I need to’ve stated that earlier however I do have anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like identified or anything with depression um however I do certainly like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summertime here so essentially I think it’s truly excellent if you you understand can’t make it to appointments if you have a truly hectic task or something like that I think likewise another truly terrific truly great prospect to use talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be an excellent thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I haven’t. problems since they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that are like stressing you or things that are making depressed or nervous but I tend to find that it’s a bit much better for simply more I’m truly anxious about beginning a new job I am truly nervous about you know finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not really like existential things um but like I stated if you are experiencing more simply you’re going through some stuff then I think it would be excellent um it likewise depends upon like how comfy you are like talking with a phone like I know that that sounds unusual but like do you video chat with your good friends do you you know what I imply since if you do not then I seem like it’s gon na be actually unusual like you holding up a phone or like speaking with your laptop since it’s gon na be like this odd like artificial thing however like if you’re used to that then it’s kind of like okay whatever like this is regular that’s something I saw I do talk on facetiming a bit so I seem like I’m sort of used to it however I felt like when I was doing it this would be weird if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would definitely suggest it to anybody who travels like full-time because that would be awesome like then you could really have therapy if that’s not something that is an alternative to you.
