texting is it’s just that you can text them…Is Betterhelp Good For Therapists… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can talk about it with your therapist sort of immediately and then I think a good part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you just want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really helpful for individuals with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it type of provides you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a big professional um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you know I believe it’s because of this or this they may say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t know what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 reactions a day about like undoubtedly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you however it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message due to the fact that generally they do a lot of these individuals seem to have perhaps not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely instantaneous because regard like going over things it’s instant that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re discussing things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na sort of discuss it like a typical conversation but with talk space you might state this and after that it might be 5 hours later and after that they might state oh well this and after that it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your pals you understand what I mean like you can call somebody and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something excellent to think about you know something that did trouble me a little bit at first yeah the one good thing to it seems to be a great bit cheaper than going in to speak with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the real rate like here somebody it’s about that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually due to the fact that like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s type of nice the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I do not have really any complaints about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I do not understand that was just something I thought of but that’s.

not really important but overall I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has actually been excellent so far um I mean it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be tough opening to these people just because you’re not there personally and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with normal regular therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been considering however I’m not exactly sure just how much that really is just me having a problem opening up to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing at the same time but back here so I simply wanted to give some like final thoughts I think I don’t desire this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to provide a quick summary and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a great service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I believe it’s a little bit difficult if you have some concerns that are appearance I think it’s truly great for like stress type of stuff and I have not been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have like been just having a great deal of like think you’re not little however like smaller things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I think I must’ve said that earlier however I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um however I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I actually like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have a really busy job or something like that I think also another really fantastic really excellent candidate to utilize talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I haven’t. issues because they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making nervous or depressed however I tend to find that it’s a bit better for simply more I’m actually anxious about starting a brand-new task I am really distressed about you understand finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not really like existential things um however like I said if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some stuff then I believe it would be fantastic um it also depends on like how comfortable you resemble talking to a phone like I understand that that sounds odd but like do you video chat with your friends do you you know what I suggest because if you do not then I feel like it’s gon na be truly odd like you holding up a phone or like speaking with your laptop due to the fact that it’s gon na be like this weird like artificial thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s kind of like okay whatever like this is regular that’s something I saw I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of used to it however I felt like when I was doing it this would be odd if I didn’t um so yeah like I said I would certainly suggest it to any person who travels like full-time since that would be incredible like then you could actually have treatment if that’s not something that is an alternative to you.
