Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Marie Miguel Betterhelp… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a great part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really practical for individuals with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it type of gives you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s truly cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a big pro um I would say a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not understand what they call it they examine that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 responses a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you but it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message because essentially they do a great deal of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not really instant in that regard like talking about things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest but you might need to wait a bit longer to discuss things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a normal conversation however with talk space you may say this and after that it might be 5 hours later and after that they may say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your good friends you know what I mean like you can call someone and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to consider you know something that did bother me a little bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a great bit more affordable than going in to speak with somebody it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the actual cost like here someone it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that consists of for that package it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking really due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s type of nice the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I do not have actually any complaints about it besides possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I thought about but that’s.

not really essential but general I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has actually been very good up until now um I suggest it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be tough opening up to these people even if you’re not there personally and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with typical typical therapy so I believe that it could be harder for people to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m uncertain how much that really is just me having an issue opening to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I literally can’t make a video without everything going wrong simultaneously however back here so I simply wanted to offer some like final thoughts I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to provide a brief introduction and after that like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s an excellent service I think it does what it says it’s supposed to do I think it’s a bit difficult if you have some concerns that are appearance I think it’s actually great for like stress type of things and I have not been having a lot of like that example like I have like been just having a great deal of like believe you’re not little however like smaller things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I think I must’ve said that earlier but I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um however I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I truly like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s actually good if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have a truly hectic job or something like that I think likewise another actually fantastic truly excellent prospect to use talk space would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be an excellent thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also don’t like insurance is actually spotty with this so it depends upon if you ‘d be guaranteed anyhow however like I need to work out some insurance coverage stuff prior to I even like think of this so I mean I think it’s a fantastic service I have seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I have actually seen a number of other sponsor interviews for talk area and then there’s another one that a youtuber I truly love I enjoy all of her videos and she spoke about it however I do not remember what that a person was called I can insert it here once again and that resembles something similar so if you want to check out that a person to compare them the reason I wound up getting talk area was because my partner was type of pushing me to do something to do therapy because he knew that I was going through a lot of tension so so he sort of was the one who was stating hey you need to actually speak with somebody and he knew about talk area and so that was the one that he really recommended me to use that he for he’s heard a lot of like good ideas about however again like it’s really like spoken about a lot through sponsorships which’s practically the only method I’ve ever heard of it I haven’t really heard of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored reviews as I go to post this but yeah I think it’s I believe it’s a fantastic service for what it is I believe it’s not for everybody though um and I think like I was kind of starting to state before if you have deeper issues if you have bad anxiety if you have bad depression I believe that it is very important to be seeing somebody in person particularly if it’s you know things that it’s simply it’s it’s harder to speak about more extensive concerns there’s something I’ve type of observed like certainly these are deep.
