texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Matt Cto Betterhelp… type of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re thinking of things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I believe a nice part about that is if you have an idea sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really practical for individuals with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it type of offers you a fast outlet for those things and perhaps they do not build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I really like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you select to text them about it so if I wish to state I’m feeling this way you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t know what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she inspects hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like clearly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can most likely help you however it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message since generally they do a great deal of these people appear to have maybe not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not really instant because regard like going over things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you may need to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of speak about it like a regular discussion but with talk area you might state this and then it might be five hours later on and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making strategies with your good friends you understand what I indicate like you can call someone and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think of you know something that did trouble me a bit initially yeah the one good idea to it seems to be an excellent bit less expensive than entering to speak to somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here somebody it has to do with that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so each week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re most likely talking truly since like I stated it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re most likely going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have really any problems about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I do not understand that was just something I thought about but that’s.

not very crucial however total I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great so far um I imply it is I would say another con in my opinion would be that it might be difficult opening up to these people just because you’re not there personally and you’re not face to face rather as much as you would be with typical typical treatment so I believe that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of however I’m not exactly sure how much that in fact is just me having an issue opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got strange and I actually can’t make a video without whatever going wrong at once but back here so I simply wished to give some like last thoughts I think I do not desire this to be too long of a video I kind of wished to give a short overview and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it states it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit hard if you have some concerns that are look I believe it’s actually helpful for like stress kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been just having a great deal of like believe you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I think I must’ve said that earlier however I do have actually anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I really like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer here so generally I believe it’s really excellent if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly busy task or something like that I believe likewise another actually fantastic really fantastic prospect to utilize talk space would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I haven’t.
