texting is it’s just that you can text them…Micheal Phekpz Betterhelp… type of whenever you have ideas whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can discuss it with your therapist type of immediately and then I think a great part about that is if you have a thought type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be truly helpful for individuals with stress and anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it sort of gives you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they don’t develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a huge professional um I would state a con related to that very same thing is that things just take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists inspect there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I do not know what they call it they examine that two times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she examines hardest 2 times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like undoubtedly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message because essentially they do a lot of these individuals seem to have maybe not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not really instantaneous in that regard like discussing things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest but you might have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of speak about it like a regular discussion but with talk space you might say this and then it might be 5 hours later on and then they might say oh well this and then it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your pals you understand what I indicate like you can call someone and you can say hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand done with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you understand something that did bother me a bit in the beginning yeah the one good idea to it seems to be a great bit more affordable than going in to talk with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the real rate like here someone it’s about that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking actually because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of nice the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have truly any grievances about it other than possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyhow so I don’t know that was just something I thought about but that’s.

not very important but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been very good so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my opinion would be that it might be hard opening to these individuals just because you’re not there in person and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with normal regular treatment so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about however I’m not exactly sure just how much that actually is simply me having an issue opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I actually can’t make a video without whatever failing simultaneously however back here so I simply wanted to give some like last thoughts I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to offer a quick introduction and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s a great service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a little bit hard if you have some issues that are appearance I believe it’s really helpful for like tension type of things and I have not been having a lot of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not small however like smaller things than like my basic anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I suggest I think I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I really like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer here so basically I think it’s actually excellent if you you know can’t make it to appointments if you have an actually hectic task or something like that I believe likewise another actually excellent really excellent candidate to utilize talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you travel in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a great thing well I continue to use it yes I will just because I have not.
