texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Philip Defranco Betterhelp Twitter… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist type of immediately and after that I believe a good part about that is if you have an idea kind of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually practical for people with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with journalism of thoughts it sort of provides you a quick outlet for those things and possibly they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s actually cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things just take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling in this manner you understand I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists check there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they inspect that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about two responses a day about like certainly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re simply lingering for you to message because generally they do a lot of these individuals seem to have perhaps not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not extremely rapid because regard like talking about things it’s immediate that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you may need to wait a little bit longer to go over things and if you’re talking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and after that they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of speak about it like a normal conversation however with talk space you might state this and after that it might be five hours later and after that they may say oh well this and after that it’s kind of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making strategies with your pals you understand what I suggest like you can call someone and you can state hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand made with your conversation at 5 minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something good to think of you know something that did bother me a bit initially yeah the one advantage to it appears to be an excellent bit cheaper than going in to talk to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual price like here someone it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking really since like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more assistance I would say so that’s kind of great the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have truly any complaints about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that doesn’t matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was just something I thought of however that’s.

not extremely important but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great up until now um I mean it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these people just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not in person rather as much as you would be with typical regular treatment so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have trouble opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking of but I’m not exactly sure just how much that really is simply me having a problem opening up to individuals or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without everything going wrong at the same time but back here so I just wanted to give some like final ideas I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I type of wanted to give a quick introduction and after that like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s a good service I think it does what it says it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit tough if you have some concerns that are appearance I believe it’s truly good for like tension type of things and I have not been having a great deal of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my basic stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve said that earlier but I do have actually anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I don’t I’m not like detected or anything with depression um but I do definitely like depressive ideas and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so basically I think it’s really good if you you know can’t make it to consultations if you have a truly busy task or something like that I believe likewise another really excellent really terrific prospect to utilize talk area would be someone who’s taking a trip a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I haven’t. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also don’t like insurance coverage is truly spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be insured anyway but like I need to work out some insurance coverage stuff prior to I even like think of this so I mean I believe it’s an excellent service I have seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk area and after that there’s another one that a youtuber I actually love I see all of her videos and she talked about it however I do not remember what that a person was called I can insert it here again and that’s like something comparable so if you wish to look into that a person to compare them the reason I ended up getting talk area was since my boyfriend was sort of pressing me to do something to do treatment due to the fact that he understood that I was going through a great deal of stress so so he sort of was the one who was stating hey you should truly speak with somebody and he understood about talk space and so that was the one that he actually suggested me to use that he for he’s heard a lot of like good things about but once again like it’s actually like talked about a lot through sponsorships which’s pretty much the only method I’ve ever heard of it I haven’t truly become aware of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to publish this but yeah I believe it’s I think it’s an excellent service for what it is I believe it’s not for everybody though um and I think like I was kind of starting to say before if you have much deeper concerns if you have bad stress and anxiety if you have bad depression I think that it’s important to be seeing somebody in person particularly if it’s you know things that it’s simply it’s it’s harder to speak about more in-depth issues there’s something I have actually sort of observed like obviously these are deep.
concerns because they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making nervous or depressed but I tend to find that it’s a little bit better for just more I’m actually distressed about beginning a new job I am really anxious about you understand graduating going to school you know stuff like that that’s not truly like existential things um however like I said if you are experiencing more simply you’re going through some stuff then I think it would be excellent um it likewise depends upon like how comfy you are like speaking with a phone like I understand that that sounds weird however like do you video chat with your good friends do you you understand what I indicate since if you do not then I feel like it’s gon na be actually strange like you holding up a phone or like talking to your laptop computer due to the fact that it’s gon na resemble this strange like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s kind of like alright whatever like this is normal that’s something I discovered I do talk on facetiming a bit so I seem like I’m sort of used to it but I seemed like when I was doing it this would be strange if I didn’t um so yeah like I said I would definitely recommend it to any person who takes a trip like full-time since that would be awesome like then you might in fact have therapy if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
