Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Talkspace Betterhelp… kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re considering things you wish to you can talk about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I think a nice part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply want to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be actually handy for people with anxiety or with depression with journalism of ideas it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they may if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I think that’s really cool I actually like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you know I believe it’s because of this or this they might say oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um something to note is that the therapists inspect there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t understand what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she checks hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about 2 actions a day about like clearly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a minute they can probably assist you but it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message since essentially they do a great deal of these people appear to have maybe not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely rapid in that regard like talking about things it’s immediate that you can tell them your problems and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na kind of speak about it like a normal conversation however with talk area you may state this and after that it might be five hours later on and after that they may state oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your pals you know what I suggest like you can call somebody and you can state hello let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know done with your discussion at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s just something excellent to think about you know something that did bother me a bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be a great bit more affordable than entering to speak with somebody it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here somebody it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that includes for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions monthly so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking really since like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any grievances about it other than perhaps like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was simply something I considered but that’s.

not very important but general I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great so far um I indicate it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with typical regular therapy so I think that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did intend to have a little bit of difficulty opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking about however I’m not exactly sure how much that really is just me having a problem opening up to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing at the same time but back here so I just wished to give some like final ideas I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to give a quick overview and then like if you desire me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I think it’s an excellent service I think it does what it says it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some concerns that are look I think it’s truly great for like stress type of things and I haven’t been having a lot of like that example like I have like been simply having a lot of like believe you’re not little but like smaller sized things than like my basic anxiety and like what activates me and everything and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I think I should’ve said that earlier however I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I don’t I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive ideas and like I truly like to say that I have anxiety but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s truly good if you you understand can’t make it to consultations if you have an actually hectic job or something like that I think also another really terrific truly fantastic prospect to use talk area would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be an excellent thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also don’t like insurance coverage is really spotty with this so it depends on if you ‘d be insured anyway however like I need to work out some insurance coverage things before I even like think of this so I mean I think it’s a fantastic service I have actually seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a variety of other sponsor interviews for talk space and after that there’s another one that a youtuber I truly enjoy I view all of her videos and she discussed it but I don’t remember what that one was called I can place it here again which resembles something comparable so if you wish to look into that one to compare them the reason I ended up getting talk area was because my partner was sort of pushing me to do something to do therapy due to the fact that he knew that I was going through a lot of stress so so he sort of was the one who was stating hey you should truly talk with somebody and he understood about talk space therefore that was the one that he truly suggested me to use that he for he’s heard a great deal of like good ideas about however once again like it’s really like spoken about a lot through sponsorships which’s practically the only way I have actually ever heard of it I haven’t actually heard of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to publish this but yeah I think it’s I believe it’s an excellent service for what it is I believe it’s not for everyone though um and I think like I was type of beginning to state before if you have much deeper issues if you have bad stress and anxiety if you have bad anxiety I believe that it is very important to be seeing somebody in person especially if it’s you know things that it’s simply it’s it’s harder to speak about more thorough concerns there’s something I’ve kind of seen like clearly these are deep.
concerns because they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble stressing you or things that are making distressed or depressed however I tend to find that it’s a bit better for simply more I’m truly anxious about beginning a new task I am actually anxious about you know graduating going to school you know stuff like that that’s not really like existential things um but like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some things then I think it would be fantastic um it likewise depends on like how comfortable you are like talking with a phone like I know that that sounds unusual but like do you video chat with your friends do you you know what I suggest since if you do not then I seem like it’s gon na be truly unusual like you holding up a phone or like talking to your laptop computer since it’s gon na resemble this odd like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s type of like alright whatever like this is typical that’s something I noticed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I seem like I’m kind of used to it but I seemed like when I was doing it this would be unusual if I didn’t um so yeah like I said I would definitely advise it to any person who travels like full-time since that would be incredible like then you might actually have therapy if that’s not something that is an option to you.
