Is it better to work for Talkspace or BetterHelp?
texting is it’s simply that you can text them…Text Therapy Betterhelp… sort of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking about things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist sort of instantly and then I think a good part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you understand you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day and even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly practical for individuals with anxiety or with depression with the press of ideas it kind of offers you a fast outlet for those things and possibly they don’t build up in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you know a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I truly like it for that I would state that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to discuss if you choose to text them about it so if I wish to say I’m feeling this way you know I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I think I don’t know what they call it they inspect that two times a day or a minimum of my therapist informed me that she checks hardest 2 times a day so because regard you’re gon na.
get about two reactions a day about like undoubtedly if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re simply waiting around for you to message because generally they do a lot of these individuals seem to have maybe not practices but they have a workplace that they work out of anyway so um it’s not extremely rapid in that regard like going over things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na state something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na type of talk about it like a typical discussion however with talk area you might state this and then it might be five hours later and after that they might say oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your friends you understand what I imply like you can call somebody and you can state hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand made with your conversation at five minutes whereas it might take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something excellent to think of you understand something that did trouble me a little bit at first yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a great bit more affordable than going in to talk to someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I might put the real cost like here somebody it’s about that cost a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I suggest it is less time that you’re most likely talking actually because like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to therapy you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and however you get more support I would say so that’s type of nice the app itself the user interface is really easy to use I like it I don’t have actually any complaints about it besides perhaps like you can’t see if they read it but like I think that does not matter due to the fact that like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was just something I thought about but that’s.

not extremely essential but overall I do like the interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been excellent so far um I indicate it is I would say another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening to these individuals just because you’re not there face to face and you’re not personally quite as much as you would be with normal typical treatment so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening up to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did mean to have a bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of but I’m unsure how much that actually is just me having an issue opening to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I actually can’t make a video without everything failing at the same time however back here so I simply wanted to give some like last thoughts I guess I do not want this to be too long of a video I sort of wished to provide a short summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I type of can like in an follow-up video or something like that essentially I believe it’s an excellent service I believe it does what it states it’s expected to do I think it’s a bit hard if you have some issues that are appearance I think it’s actually great for like tension kind of things and I have not been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not small however like smaller sized things than like my basic anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I guess I should’ve stated that earlier however I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like detected or anything with depression um however I do definitely like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety however like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I haven’t utilized that for that long so I do not know it’s summer season here so essentially I believe it’s truly good if you you know can’t make it to appointments if you have a truly hectic job or something like that I believe also another truly fantastic actually fantastic prospect to use talk space would be someone who’s traveling a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you travel in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I think that would be a terrific thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will even if I have not. personally found a therapist that I like around here and I also don’t like insurance coverage is truly spotty with this so it depends upon if you ‘d be guaranteed anyhow however like I require to exercise some insurance stuff before I even like think of this so I mean I think it’s a terrific service I have actually seen a lot of other sponsored interviews or like I’ve seen a number of other sponsor interviews for talk area and then there’s another one that a youtuber I truly enjoy I see all of her videos and she spoke about it but I do not remember what that a person was called I can insert it here again which’s like something comparable so if you wish to look into that a person to compare them the factor I ended up getting talk space was because my sweetheart was sort of pushing me to do something to do therapy because he understood that I was going through a great deal of tension so so he sort of was the one who was stating hey you should actually talk to somebody and he understood about talk space therefore that was the one that he actually recommended me to use that he for he’s heard a lot of like good things about however once again like it’s actually like spoken about a lot through sponsorships which’s pretty much the only way I’ve ever heard of it I haven’t really become aware of it unn sponsored and I’m probably gon na like fine on sponsored evaluations as I go to post this however yeah I believe it’s I think it’s a great service for what it is I believe it’s not for everyone though um and I think like I was type of starting to say before if you have deeper issues if you have bad anxiety if you have bad depression I think that it is essential to be seeing somebody in person particularly if it’s you know things that it’s just it’s it’s more difficult to speak about more extensive issues there’s something I have actually kind of discovered like obviously these are deep.
problems because they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that resemble worrying you or things that are making anxious or depressed however I tend to find that it’s a little bit much better for just more I’m truly anxious about beginning a new task I am truly anxious about you know finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not really like existential things um however like I said if you are experiencing more simply you’re going through some stuff then I think it would be fantastic um it also depends upon like how comfortable you are like talking with a phone like I know that that sounds odd but like do you video chat with your friends do you you know what I suggest since if you don’t then I seem like it’s gon na be really weird like you holding up a phone or like speaking with your laptop since it’s gon na resemble this strange like synthetic thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s type of like okay whatever like this is typical that’s something I observed I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m sort of used to it but I seemed like when I was doing it this would be strange if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would definitely suggest it to anyone who travels like full-time since that would be awesome like then you might really have treatment if that’s not something that is an option to you.
